German Centre – Worldwide

In today's competitive global environment, it is essential for German companies to enhance their presence in important partner countries. Particularly small and medium-sized companies require a reliable local base for their business activities in distant and difficult markets. This infrastructure provides ample opportunities for cooperation and enables the German business community to become more visible in the respective host countries.

The mission of the German Centres for Industry and Trade is to support German companies with a comprehensive infrastructure of office space and services under one roof. Together with all instruments for the promotion of foreign trade, the German Centres are excellent platforms, in particular for small and medium-sized companies, to set up and expand business activities in markets abroad.

The German Centres are projects of BayernLB, RREEF, Landesbank Baden-Württemberg and Landeskreditbank Baden-Württemberg.

The German Centres are meeting points to foster business contacts between local and German firms and institutions and offer newcomers many opportunities for exchanging experiences and information. The German Centres are owned and managed by private investors, who plan the projects, build and finance them and ensure that the building is operated in accordance with the German Centre guidelines.

The “Coordinating Committee German Centres for Industry and Trade” was founded in 1995 to facilitate the coordination and communication regarding the individual projects. The committee consists of representatives from the political and business sectors as well as owners of the German Centres.
